Hopper’s second solo album after the experimental album 1984. The Hopper Tunity Box is an amazing collection of compositions that were all built up from bass and to which keyboards, drums, saxes and other instruments and effects were added separately. The album has an improvised and live feel but consists solely of studio montages. Very advanced seventies album, everything Soft Machine could have become if Hopper had not left the band. With contributions of Elton Dean and Gary Windo.

The booklet of the CD is signed by Hugh Hopper.
