Charles Amirkhanian talks to Tom Marioni, founder of the Museum of Conceptual Art in San Francisco, and artist Dennis Oppenheim about the show Body Works which was to open at the museum shortly after the interview on 18 October 1970. The show was to include video works by Vito Acconci, Terry Fox, Bruce Nauman, Dennis Oppenheim, Keith Sonnier and William Wegman, all of them sculptors involved in body art. Oppenheim describes his work Hair Piece which was to be exhibited in the show and talks about other body art pieces of his, such as Deformity. Furthermore, Oppenheim describes his artistic evolution from painting to sculpting and from there to conceptual art and video and film.
