The DVD contains registrations - in various formats - of live performances by the experimental and improvisational ensemble Oorbeek, in which Serge Onnen plays the trumpet. Both in Amsterdam and in Berlin Oorbeek presented so-called ombromanias, improvised pieces performed behind a screen, while the shadows of the musicians and all sorts of objects and texts are projected onto the screen, thus producing a huge shadowplay. The DVD comes with a beautifully mimeographed booklet designed by Serge Onnen, which contains no less than 48 ombromania images.
